Interesting that it would be different. Is this your first year renewing? If so, last year you wouldn't have got the renewal discount, but you would get it this year.

Same here, mine were $3937.50.
So by my math that's a $315.02 increase, which would be an 8% hike. Pretty steep in this economy, to be honest.
We'll have to think long and hard whether we renew for the 16th season if this is a continuing trend. I have lots of friends in Edmonton that got rid of their season's for the same reason. New building, new taxes/fees, and impossible to offload tickets.

Lol, I’ve been a STH since 03/04
last year I went up about $300...
I think my tickets have officially doubled since first becoming an STH

I think they need to keep that in mind. The good will from 04 was one thing, and it was followed by 5 years of the economy being on fire
I had to give up my tix a couple of years ago. One guy I shared them with was out, the other was on the fence, and if you couldn’t go, often recouping STH price was a best case scenario.
Now I can go to most games when I want, for around STH price, with no commitment or extra burden
The good will and casual fan base from 2004 has gradually eroded. The people that were going to the red mile are 15 years older, and that next generation of casual fans have not had much to stir the passion.
You would hope they informed pricing by a look at the secondary market, but I am sure they have been thinking they are doing fans a favour in minimizing price increases as a reward for tolerating the mediocrity.

He was confused with Red2's... (Rows 5-10). Those are seeing an 11%+. Whites/Blues are the same section and only get a 4% increase it appears.

Our first year of PL3 ROW 2 seats was $1918.42. That was 2011.
This year in PL14 ROW 2 we are at $2799.44.

Is there even a waitlist for season tickets anymore?
I have considered it in the past, but I can’t be bothered at these prices. The resale market for Flames tickets is embarrassingly below STH cost given how well the team is playing. It has got to be brutal for season ticket holders trying to sell their unused tickets.
The fan in me wants to see passionate fans in these seats. It is frustrating because Flames crowds are getting older, sparser and quieter. The interest in going to Flames games is relatively minimal in my largely mid 20s friend group at these prices.
The Flames are doing a great job of maximizing revenue now, but longterm I am genuinely worried who will pick up the season tickets once the boomers go full fixed income / spend winter in Mexico mode. Gen X, you ready to pick up the slack?

Don't worry, fixed income for this generation should really be put in a league of its own. Boomers will still comfortably support the Flames until they are all fully senile as they continue pulling from 400%+ housing value increases, decent salaries, and for the most part, an ultra low cost of living during their primary work years.
I'm not surprised to see more increases. If the team raises prices after terrible years, obviously they are going to cash in during a great year.

5.9% increase in Red 1. No mention of renewal discount - in previous years it was listed I think 5% so not sure if the increase is the discount being eliminated.

??? where do you get the numbers for rounds 1 and 2? I got 5.9% increase for next season but Round 1 is 12% higher than two years ago (Red1 lower bowl).

I think the percentage difference is from the regular season pricing of the same seats.

I have picked up the playoff tickets. Going to mull over the regular season renewal. Been a bit tougher to sell the games I don't/can't go to this year.

Weird, wonder if it is because I am on a split season. $3374 -> $3735. I bet I got one less game this season and one more next season.
EDIT: Confirmed - I get an extra game next season with my split. "Only" a 5.9% increase according to my rep.
