Meh. The choices always look bad when they lose

Though I would give Elias a try

pretty funny that they've dominated every game against the canucks this year but end up 1-2. canucks are such a garbage team, kept entirely afloat by their career year goalie and flukey goals. it will be fun to watch them plunge to the bottom 5 again

Neal is 18 for 54 in shootouts. Gaudreau is 4-18.

Lindholm would make sense though

A deadline pickup for the second line would be good.

Hard for Tkachuk to be a point per game guy all year doing the heavy lifting for that line. Frolik has sunk into irrelevance again. Get Chucky some help on that wing.

On the plus side... Nothing to fear in a 1st round matchup with the Canucks. Flames absolutely dominated them outside of the crease.
I think in a game or two we get our rhythm back. Too long of a lay-off and too few games in the last couple of weeks has screwed us up a bit.

Thoughts:
-Neal needs some dental work
-Tkachuk needs to play much better to get a big contract
-Peters need to regret for his choice of shooters in the shoot-out
-I need to drink better whiskies during HNIC
-Onto next game, good night everyone

October 9th against Nashville where we were outshot 43-27 with Smith getting the shutout

Flames absolutely dominated for long stretches. In a 7 game series, you are going to crush a team playing like that.

Shootout was predictable.

OT was strange. After such a great effort all game , they were off in OT.

Can you imagine John Garrett and Dave Randorf calling a game?

CGY seems to give the puck away. Really should’ve won going away.

Yup, I would've picked Lindholm.

These hail mary, feel good story attempts need to stop. Neal isn't there yet.

Big Save Dave was not average save Dave tonight. He was really fighting it. And I can't remember a game we dominated so heavily and lost this year. Vancouver had no business being in that one.

Rittich was solid, Markstrom was godlike. Have you seen Flames goaltending in the past five years? Rittich was fine.

Flames controlled most of that game. Nothing to worry about with this one, except for the travesty of taking away 2 minutes of 3on3 with the talent on both sides.
