Should never have gone to a shootout. 50 shots, they need to pot more than just 3 goals.

Next up Tampa Bay - 3 game losing skid could cost 1st place in the division.

That long restful break was awesome - NOT!

Flames seem to have lost their pre-break mojo.

Markstrom was great again.

I am really excited for our new player George Dano. Anyone have some info on him?

I'm concerned. Goalies win playoff series alone. When is the last time a Flames goalie outplayed the opposition?

Markstrom was on another level in that game.

That said, how did Lindholm not shoot in the shootout.

I'd have had Lindholm first, Mangiapane second (he was playing well and had a goal).

Neal played well, but game on the line in the shootout well?

Regardless,

We've won games we shouldn't have, and this is a game we lost that we shouldn't have. Throughout the season every team gets each of those.

- They played pretty good, Markstrom stood on his head
- The team needs a 2nd line winger to play with Backlund and Tkachuk if they want to be true cup contenders
- They suck at the shootout, so predictable

On the plus side... Nothing to fear in a 1st round matchup with the Canucks. Flames absolutely dominated them outside of the crease.
Outside of the third goal I thought Rittich had a strong game, especially in the last period.

Most encouraging sign was the overall play and effort level
Back to how they need to play
Just go do that again

Flames goaltending had to #### the bed and theirs had to stand on its head for us to drop a point tonight. Shows how good this team is! That said, I don’t want to see the Nucks in the first round. Enough talent to do damage, and Markstrom seems to always show against us.

You really thought Rittich was strong? I though he looked iffy most of the game routine shots were bouncing off him like crazy.
