The Stars can thank Anton Khudobin for being the one man show as the Stars played hang on as they won 4-3 in regulation time. The shots in the third period were 13-3 in favour of Chicago.

Khudobin>Ward , but neither Defense was any good, and another wretched turnover, this one by Forsling, cost the game.

As of now, Kane's point streak ended at 20 games, however, I thought he should have gotten a secondary assist on Toews' PPG...I thought Kane tossed it up the boards to Toews, who did a give and go with Gustafsson. We will have to see if there is a scoring amendment.

The Coyotes now now lead 2-1 midway through the second period. It is Shane Doan night.

Was a shot block that he crouched and took side on...got him just above the cuff of the glove.

1 at 2 in overtime

Ryan Donato, the newest acquisition from the Bruins, scored the GWG at the midway point of OT and that was the only shot in OT. Once again, the Wild got the needed ROW as they're hanging on to a playoff spot.

The Coyotes were down 1-0 early in the game and basically relied on Kuemper to kind of steal this one, especially in the 3rd period, as the Jets out shot the Coyotes 35-24 (17-6 in the 3rd period).

5 at 6 in overtime

The Capitals were lucky to get the ROW, they're just 5 points up on 9th place in the eastern conf. Backstrom had 2 goals for the Caps and Skeji also with 2 goals for the Rangers. The Capitals had the inability of holding to 2 goal leads.

4 at 3 in regulation

The same can be said for the Stars getting the ROW. They're just hanging on to a playoff spot in the tight western conf. race. Benn is listed as a day to day injury.

Like others were saying here, thanks for nothing Red Wings. They just imploded as the Sharks scored 3 goals in just under 3 minutes of the 2nd period. Pavelski with the hat trick, Burns and Couture each had 2 points.

Murphy's Law strikes the Stars on that trade.
