He’s really not that far off. I don’t think it’s a ridiculous claim at all. Lindholm and Backlund got Selke votes and he is right up there with those two for best on the team

I'm a huge Tkachuk fan but that's just a crazy comparison. Lindholm was the defensive pillar on the top line (and thereby made that line elite as opposed to very good). Backlund is a defensive specialist centre. He is the one assigned to check McDavid. I'm confident Tkachuk will never be assigned to check McDavid.

Mmmmm. No. I don't think so. Tkachuk is good, but Lindholm and especially Backlund are on a whole other level.
