CP Live Draft - FINAL RESULTS
CPers,
Not sure if there is going to be a Shanks crowd this time or whether we will do everything online. Reg season starts October 12th so time is ticking pretty quickly and if we plan to do a CP pool this year we should get this thing rolling.
The last Monday before the season starts is October 11th at 6pm MST, 8pm EST and Id suggest we shoot for that date and time unless others have a better alternative.
This has usually been a snake draft, goals and assists only, no goalies, one mulligan. 12 rounds, and a $25 entrance fee.
We can discuss who might want to host the draft virtually via Teams of GMail Meeting or any other alternative.
So without ado, who is in, and are you good with the date and time or do you have an alternative. You can also send your list in to any of the people who are planning to attend.

I think Schanks is open again with the Restriction Exemption Program:
https://www.schanks.com/
I would be a "maybe" for that date and time. They usually provide drink coupons and some wings.

I think I can get permission from management to attend. Feel bad about shearing so many sheep, but someone has to.

Sure I'm in.
Are you all adopting any sort of "McDavid" rule? Given the gap in points he generates I know some leagues are only accounting his assists, or using 80% of his point production. That type of thing.

Hadnt thought about that.. Maybe we ahould just go with a no stinking Oiler rule! I'll let others weigh in, but if mind serves correct i don't think whoever took McD last time won the pool.

Actually the easiest way to deal with it is indeed just to exclude him.
It's just such an advantage to have him and a 20-25 point head start on the pack.

I'm pretty sure I can make it. Kids don't have their hockey schedule yet, so just waiting on that. And I can run the spreadsheet again through Google sheets so people can still partake even if they can't make it. They would just have to pay prior to the draft.

In the past it’s “you pick him you get punched”
Well, derision thrown your way at least.

I miss the opportunity to toss peanuts or order Shirley Temples.
Then again, it helps having you around to make sure I dont get my ass kicked too badly.
