I just think Rittich should start because Smith has already played 4 games in a row. Rittich is also good on the road, and his worst performance since March 12 was 90.6%.

Smith has obviously been good, but I think Rittich should start either tonight or the next game. Since Rittich is good on the road, I say start him tonight. I don't know why I'm saying this, since they're probably going to start Smith, and I'm probably wrong.

Unless Smith gets hurt or plays really sharty then Rittich wont be seeing the ice. I know he wanted to stay in for the 3rd but they should have pulled him. Shouldnt have been an option but i also respected his answer.

When it comes to the playoffs though that doesn't matter. As long as the guy you start with is playing well you stick with him.

I do think it was a mistake though by Peters to not put Rittich in after 3-0 even if Smith wanted to finish the game. It might not have mattered anyway but it might have woke them up and put up more of a fight.

I have always said that our D are more engaged with Rittich in net because they are never stationary with the puck.

Those hoping to see Rittich in for Game 4 are in for a disappointment

If they lose tonight, I'm almost certain that Ritter plays Game 5.
