I would have liked Columbus' chances against pretty much anyone else in the East but Tampa is gonna roll over them.

Columbus' only chance is Bob stealing them 4 wins.

Well of all the WC or bubble teams, I'd say CBJ is the best matched up against TBL. They'll likely still get annihilated, but they match up much better than Carolina or Montreal would. I would see having so many rentals/"all-in" players means less so that they have one foot out the door and more that they're all committed and bought into going big this year.

Time will tell

I think the Blue Jackets have the potential for an LA like run back when they squeaked in but then rolled to the finals. Not saying they are going to roll Tampa, but they have the potential to squeak through if all their players all of a sudden get hot. They're a pretty deep team that I feel underperformed during the regular season.

If Bob goes on a hot streak, then they could give Tampa a run during the first round. Especially when all the pressure is on Tampa.

Oh look a hit to the head penalty when he didn’t hit him in the head?

Pretty good brawl to start though.

What were the odds the first goal of the playoffs would be a shorty? The Jackets not doing themselves any favours with that power play performance.

TB is pretty good. Goalie Bob doesn't look so good.

This series is looking mighty sweepy in the opening 20 minutes, particularly with Bobrovsky spilling the puck everywhere.

I haven't seen much of Columbus this year, but this period they look entirely disjointed like it's the first time they're playing with each other. Nobody knows what the other guy will do. I suppose playing Tampa would do that to you too

I actually thought they looked quite good through the first 5 mins. That SHG threw them off.

Tampa is murdering them and their big names haven't even done anything yet. This could be a memorable playoff run.

Tampa can play so aggressively and with supreme confidence because they know they’ve got Vasy back there to bail them out, and even if he doesn’t, they’ve got the best player in the league who can break games pretty much at will.

I really don’t see how any team stops them.
