Wes Gilbertson @WesGilbertson
#Flames winger James Neal, out since Valentine's Day, working with Mark Jankowski and Austin Czarnik at morning skate in Vancouver.

Derek Wills @Fan960Wills
#Flames projected lines and pairings vs. #Canucks:

Gaudreau-Monahan-Lindholm
Tkachuk-Backlund-Frolik
Neal-Jankowski-Czarnik
Mangiapane-Ryan-Hathaway

Giordano-Brodie
Hanifin-Hamonic
Fantenberg-Andersson

Smith (Starter)
Rittich

After missing the last 17 games, it looks like James Neal will return to #Flames line-up vs. #Canucks tonight. #CGYvsVAN

Hoo boy, when you have people claiming =Brock Boeser is only decent and playing up the line up despite the fact he's on a 30+ goal pace despite a serious back injury a year ago, you have to seriously consider if the Edmonton water has made its way to Calgary.

No way Vancouver brings home the 9th place banner without him.

While a couple of posters may be selling Boeser short as I too think he is a legit first line talent and Van does have a decent first line, do they have much after that?

The Edmonton jab is a Lowe blow even for a 'Nucks fan!

Smith starting? Hmm...interesting. Thought for sure it would be Rittich tonight.

It's odd to see Smith get back-to-back starts after Rittich played so well against the Jackets.

Smith was good too against the Sens, but I still thought they'd go back to Rittich tonight.

He keeps getting outduelled by Markstrom, so might as well let Smith have a shot at it.

Can you clarify what you are talking about here as maybe I missed the posts on first glance of anyone saying that. I think he's a good player but his inability to stay healthy has to be a bit of a concern as it's not like Pettersson has the physique of a robust athlete. Going to be hard for that rebuild to turn the corner if these guys can't play full seasons.

Listen I'm not here to Kurri favour with you guys. I calls them as I sees them.

The Canucks have like... 8 players that played games so far this season that I wanna see on the team in five years

Yes, but significantly less than expected and that's where the optimism comes from.

That's right, a good young player is why the team is not 31st over all as was almost universally predicted in October.
