Hope Gaudreau , Lindy, and Andersson all net hat tricks and Pettersson gets nothing for the rest of the year. This post has nothing to do with my hockey pool I am in second place in. Nothing at all..

Flames have dominated the play between these two teams the last few times they've met. I expect this continues but this time they get to Markstrom by having Tkachuk take up residence in his head early in the game with his net front presence. Calgary returns home with a 4-2 win. GFG!

The Canucks are playing really well lately despite their place in the standings and Markstrom always seems to have the Flames number. Going to be a tough one despite all the talk about the flames playing non-playoff teams and having an easy road, Anaheim, LA and Vancouver are all playing well lately, Flames need to be dialed in this week to avoid the last week being a nail biter.
Have yet to see the Flames win in Van, but have to see them live at least once this year. Should be a fun game! Lots of re-sale tickets available below face value so should be lots of flaming Cs in attendance.
Markstrom has played solidly against us this season, but I think this is the game we put a lot of pucks through him. 8-2 Flames with Neal (if he dresses) getting a couple of goals.
VAN have good players and are in the playoff race so it will be a tough test again for CGY. This type of rivalry game will be good for CGY to get the juices flowing - heighten their focus.
CGY has the opportunity to show that wave after wave attack tonight. Regardless of the score it would be fantastic to see CGY be relentless in their game and really showcase the type of hockey they will play in the second season. I'm excited to see them combine an almost possessed work ethic with their sublime skill and smarts.

Van has one great player, a few decent players who are too high in their lineup and then a bunch of terrible players. They’re not very good and have been riding a super hot goalie who came out of nowhere.

As long as they show up and play their game, the Flames should win this one. My only worry is Markstrom. We might have to put 40+ shots on net tonight to get the 2 points.

They have dominated play but not Petterson...have to do something about that. And yes, they have to get goals on Markstrom too.
