Don't have a good feeling about this one - hope I'm wrong.
If they can get the 2 points, it would really put them in control for the division and conference lead, with a 6 point lead, it would be all but over.
Conversely, with a regulation loss, and a Shark victory over Detroit tomorrow, we're back to just a 2 point lead.
We need a good game from the goalie. Flames have outplayed the Nucks significantly, all year long. But the goaltending battle has been the difference maker. No soft ones and we should be fine.

Thanks for the early GDT!
Have a great feeling about this one. Flames have dominated the Canucks this year but have had #### puck luck. Tonight the dam bursts, along with the stupid Canucks long shot playoffs hopes.
8-1 Flames. GFG

Calgary needs to play their game and win the goaltending battle. If they do that, it will equate to another road win.
They should be rested and revved up to play the Nucks.
I'd like to see the powerplay click as they have not converted lately.

Van has stolen the last 2 games from the Flames. Hoping for a resounding victory from the boys tonight.

I'll be there, which usually means we lose unfortunately.
Definitely due for a decisive victory in Vancouver, especially after the last game played here.

Go Flames Go! Should be a tough game tonight with the way Markstrom seems to play us. Hoping to see Neal tonight, if we can get our third line going like our fourth, look out.

This Canucks team has 1 regulation win in their last 20 games. They're awful. Their PPG rookie scoring sensation and strong goaltending have carried them all the way to... another bottom 10 position. Yet they have caught all the breaks against the Flames this year despite getting their teeth pounded in every game to take them to 3 on 3 and a shootout, the ultimate coin-flip equalizers for trash teams.
They'll likely play harder than Ottawa. Flames just got to play their game and watch out for Vancouver's one dangerous offensive player. If Rittich performs like he usually does away, this should be a solid win. Hoping for 10-0 Flames. Absolutely sick of the Canucks' luck based game plan.

A regulatio win tonight would almost certainly win the division too.
Would put us 6 points up on SJ with the tie breaker advantage if they close that 6 points.
Them having to close an over 3 game gap would be a real long shot.

That's not true.
They have won 3 in regulation in that span. 5 additional OT/SO wins, for a total record of 8-8-4.
Still, not great. But not awful.

Yeah, 3 regulation wins in their last 12, including their last game, a 7-4 W over OTT
Edit: and also, 3 in their last 22

Ah, I forgot about the Rangers and Ottawa
but unless I'm missing something again, it's 3 in regulation in their last 20, is it not? Not exactly inspiring
Edit: yes, exactly, 3 in 22
