Have been super impressed with Mangiapane. He showed he can score in junior, and to an extent in the AHL. I think he has the potential to carve out a top 6 role in the future.

Great first game to watch being back from vacation. Solid effort from the entire team, and happy they didn't take the Sens lightly. Smith while not heavily tested had a huge save against Tkachuk when it was still 3-1.
Mix in a Sharks loss and it was a great night.

Your hopes and prayers were answered! San Jose found a way to choke, and now the Flames roll even closer to locking down #1.
Really liking Ryan's play - he just seems to be a guy who plugs in and plays steady with whomever he is lined up with. Ideal guy for the bottom 6. That 4th line just works so well, so if Bennett is hurt and out of the next game, I would hope they slot in Neal or Quine on the Jankowski line to keep that unit together.
