My guess is Vancouver vs. Winnipeg in Regina, and NY Rangers vs. Dallas in Dallas

Oilers will be worse next year, and may not even have Connor McDingdong as a draw.

Flames haven't been in one for a while. It's their 40th year anniversary (Calgary iteration).

Flames and Jets

Why? Van isn't going to have much of a draw in Sask, and they also just played one.

If they're basing it of fan numbers in Sask I'd have to imagine Edmonton, Winnipeg, or Toronto are the most likely. They'll have to showcase their media darlings, no matter how much of a tire fire they are, so Edmonton is in. Toronto is likely too good for the Heritage Classic, now that they've been in the Winter Classic. Which leaves Winnipeg, being close and the new team on the block I'd bet they're in.

On second thought the NHL might decide to stuff Chicago into one more outdoor game.

Also true, but they've been in 2 Heritage and 1 Winter already.

Regina was historically a Habs town, but there a lot of Oil, Leafs and Jets fans too. However, during the 2006 run I noticed a sizeable number of Hartford Whaler car flags out - so there is a decent E=NG crowd as well.

Plus whatever that one in Ottawa last season was called.

Montreal has been in 4 outdoor games now, which is tied for the third-most. Oddly, they're the only team that has been in multiple outdoor games and has yet to play one in its local market.

I believe there was a couple youtubers trying to get our Mayor to declare Las Vegas Regina's team so maybe...….lol

Personally I would love the Flames to come play a game here. I miss them.

Flames vs. Golden Knights.

I think Winnipeg and Edmonton are the logical choices ... and to be truthful I would rather the Flames not play in it … I think a Rocky Mountain classic between the Flames and Canucks or Avs would be more apt and appealing for myself … Lake Louise for the Flames next outdoor game would be an awesome spot if it could somehow be worked out ….

Flames vs Jets, but ONLY if they both wear their old Atlanta gear.

There's a lot of Leafs fans in Saskatchewan. I wonder if Oilers vs. Leafs is a possibility. Or Jets vs. Leafs.
I am thinking Edmonton to have a somewhat "local" team and to promote the NHL Golden Boy, and the other team may be a large television market team. The Leafs would be a good bet, but they might go for an American team like NYR or Pittsburgh to try and get more American viewers.

I don't want the Flames to be involved because I don't want to see the inevitable green Flames gear that would appear.

If the Flames are involved, I hope they go full-heel and wear uniforms that look like the Stamps' uniforms because they want to wear something that they know looks good winning at Mosaic Stadium.

I wonder when they’d play. Gotta be early or late in season. Regina is cold as balls Nov to Feb.

I wouldn’t trust anything past mid to late Oct. otherwise it could be -40. No way they’d do it in March in the middle of a playoff push.

That makes sense. The Riders are on the road that week and the week before.

The Stamps play the Bombers in Winnipeg on the 25th, so that could be an interesting double-header weekend for someone who wants to drive across the prairies in late October.
