Wow, cool to see this actually. Carries weight coming from someone typically against this stuff.

that performance, especially the complete lack of effort in the 3rd period, much less the whole series, does not deserve any cheering

Thank you Flames for the incredible fun exciting season, playoffs didnt work out but it's a process. I've been lucky to have seen 1986, 89 and 04 runs to the cup. This team is on the right path hopefully with some progressive trades in the off season. We can get better and continue the journey to the ultimate goal.

Consistently against it or for it? I thought he was against commenting on off ice stuff? I could be thinking of someone else. Either way, there's huge questions this offseason and I don't see any way Gaudreau AND Monahan are here in September.

Johnny was at least trying. He had little support from his linemates in most situations. Monahan is soft, Tre should look at trading him first.

This is a conversation for another day, but you damn well better believe the coach is responsible for plugging the leaks in the boat and charting the course
Brutally outcoached
Damn near impossible to collect so many capable pros and get them to all just not know how to play or give a crap

I have sent Jiri an email before as to some inside knowledge I have with regards to the off ice stuff before since I have direct contacts within the org, so maybe he is allowing some of it on here?

Peters did a good job in the regular season. But we also have to remember how badly he was out coached with a great roster in the World Championships last year.

He's usually kept it restricted to things about training, diet, etc etc.
I feel like this is in the same kind of category.
It's basically undeniable and public. Skittles and ham and cheese sandwiches!

Going to re-post this:
Living and learning from tough experiences = maturity and wisdom
Lot of critical roster players, hopefully, are going to get better from what is happening.
They missed the playoffs last year and had 50 wins and were 2nd best in the regular season. That’s a significant improvement.
Yeah. Maybe I am too patient but I am not ready to sell out at this point.

Uh pretty sure it is. Just because people don’t appreciate her commentary on the NHL where it’s obviously going to be tough for her to relate on certain things as it’s a contact men’s league doesn’t make us sexist pigs. She had a hall of fame worthy career in women’s international hockey. She is able to offer a hell of a lot more then I can. But myself personally I prefer a former player all day everyday who can do more then just breakdown the play. I like to hear about former experiences with NHL referees and former NHL players or things that occur during NHL games or in NHL locker rooms. Because wait for it... I’m watching the NHL!
I have nothing but respect for Cassie as a player and I’m sure she’s a great person. But I do not care for her colour commentary and there are others who would be more qualified. So you can take your insinuations and stuff it.
