Default What Happened Outside Suncor?

Looking online, and can't find any news - 6th Ave shutdown between MacLeod and 2nd St SW since like 1am.

Insane traffic getting in from the east apparently, and all I can find is the generic traffic report:

Quote:
6 Avenue between 1 Street SE and 2 Street SW
Date: 2017/10/15 12:46 PM
Details:
the road is closed due to an ongoing incident
Anyone heard/seen anything?

I tried going out the south doors of Suncor and the security guard forced me to go back in and had no details about it. 6th Ave is cordoned off for several blocks.

It extends from The Bow all the way to Bow Valley Square.

I thought I heard on the radio that a window was smashed out on one of the top floors so they are just cleaning it up.

Hopefully it wasn't an autodefenestration

A window fell out of Brookfield yesterday. Not too sure if it's still the same incident though.

Window washers at Brookfield Place got pushed into a window there yesterday near the top, breaking a panel and causing a closure.

Wonder if it will be open tomorrow; the diverted traffic added a fair bit onto my commute this morning.

The busted out window is all boarded up and 6th Ave is back open.
