Can't stick her final stone, but Canada finally gets on the board.

Great race for Canada! A good move to get into second, capitalize on a mistake to get into first (even if wasn't the plan to be leading at that point), survive pulling the train for a bit, then breakaway, twice, to negate the drafting advantages of the teams behind them and seal the win.

On top of Hamelin's storybook ending, with this, Steven Dubois joins Isabelle Weidemann as the second Canadian to complete the Medal Trifecta (Gold, Silver Bronze), having won Silver in the 1500m and Bronze in the 500m!

An already incredible Olympic performance for Dubois ends on a perfect note.

Well done!

So is there any scenarios where to Canadian women's curling team can advance or are they done?

Funniest s*** ever in the Women's B-Final of the 1500m Short Track.

Kikuchi turns on the jets and the very beginning, lapping the entire field and just staying in the back. Crosses the finish line with the entire group while the rest of the skaters have one lap left.

Once the remaining skaters all finish their final lap, both Canadians (Boutin & Sarault) turn on the jets thinking there's one more lap when the race is already over.

Kikuchi confused the s*** outta them.

Lmaoo

Women's 1500 B final was hilarious, Sumire from Japan just did a lap by herself and got back into drafting with the group in first place.

There were but it doesn't matter now.

Glad Gushue is in! Stress free tonight!

So nice to see Canada win another gold.

Kim Boutin did not have a great Olympics. Seems like the pressure was maybe too much for her.

I understand the thought process behind that, but I disagree.

- won a medal in her first race (where she was ranked 6th coming in)
- had horrible luck crashing on her final turn in the heats of her best distance (500m, where she's ranked 2nd)
- wasn't projected to medal in the 1500m (ranked 13th)
- had Canada in medal position in the Women's 3000m Team Relay but the anchor couldn't stay in medal position
- won Bronze in the Mixed Team Relay but Brunelle got them DQ'd

I'd say she won a medal under the most pressure possible (her first race) and then dealt with a string of horrible luck and unfortunate teammate errors

Horrible steal for Jones to allow.

8-8 heading into the 9th.

Yikes
