Instead of coming with a guard, they should just include kevlar gloves. Ironically, they probably cost less than what the useless guard costs, and offers better protection for your fingers and hands for that, and other knife work.

x-hose is currently a living deal. 20 bucks can't really go wrong!

A moron... who doesn't have that sweet egg cracking contraption!

Seriously, I think junk like that is meant for people who have never used an egg before.

I forget what chef said it, but if a kitchen gadget has only one use, it has no space in their kitchen. Obviously there are some exceptions, but that's a pretty good rule to follow.

Hrm… that gadget might be worth it for the hard-boiled eggs. I hate peeling those things. Though cracking the shell just a little, letting them sit in cold water for 2 minutes seems to help.

I'm betting that gadget isn't going to make you hate it any less...

The Slap Chop kinda sucks, it works okay for some food, but doesn't cut everything well, plus it's a pain in the butt to clean. I'd rather just use a knife.

The wife got a no-no......returned it after one use. Didn't do anything, for that amount of money it better work really well. At least there was a money back guarantee, she needed it. Stay far away.

I hope you've all seen the infomercial failures set to The Smiths:

If there is another CP golf tournament, these as seen on tv items would be funny door prizes.

i managed a Showcase store for a little while. There is a lot of crap, but also some good products:

The no no is expensive, but does work for most people. After 4 - 6 weeks, using it 2 - 3 times a week, ladies who bought it only had to shave about once a month. Not a bad deal really. Pricy though.

For the poster who asked, Flex Seal does indeed work and very well.

Bought a Nutri Bullet myself and it's awesome. Use it daily.

Just crack it on the bench (plate/sink/whatever) and roll the egg cracking the shell all over, the shell will come off super easy

I don't do it the way the video shows, but yes I do crack eggs by hitting it on the counter top. You never crack the yolk, which can happen if you use a knife or the side of a bowl/frying pan. It's quicker and it basically eliminates getting shells in your dish/pan.
