Default NFL Red Zone...worth it?

http://redzonetv.nfl.com/

Anyone had an experience with it? Is it worth the $25/year they are charging?

I didn't subscribe to NFL Sunday Ticket last year because other commitments on Sunday but this year I plan on spending many Sundays on the couch watching FOOTBALL!!!

Only time I have heard anything about it is on PTI from Kornheiser who says it's the best thing ever but just wondering what others think who don't drink the NFL's kool-aid.

Depends on how you like to watch football.

For me, the Red Zone channel is the greatest television channel that has even graced my TV. There simply is no better way to keep up with all the games on Sunday.

But I'm a bit nutty when it comes to watching football. I don't want to miss anything.

My friends are the same. For years we'd get together on Sundays, have all the games programmed into "Favorites" on the box, and somebody would be on a laptop watching game center to tell us what games to flip to when someone's in scoring position, there's a big play, or a game is coming down to the wire. The Red Zone channel has a team doing that for you, you basically never miss a big play or key drive.

I'd pay way more than $25 for it.

Is it in HD as well? Who do you get your TV service through?

I think you convinced me with:

ShawDirect is Starchoice re-branded.

Signed up for it today, $24.99 in HD on Bell, and pumped to check it out tomorrow. I think it's exactly what I want because I use to flip and back forth between 3-4 games trying to catch the action but it sounds like this will do it for me. Thanks!
