The trailer for The Incredibles 2 will be released tomorrow!
Really, I have no idea how this movie took so long to happen, especially with how popular superhero movies have become in the meantime since the first came out. I wonder if it will play on that?
Can't wait! Maybe I will watch the first tonight again in anticipation. It's been a long time since I watched it.

I think it's actually the perfect time for an Incredibles movie. So much new to spoof. Not only that they own the rights to all these characters. I'm curious to see if they put the Avengers into Incredibles somehow (similar to Spider-man with the Captain America tapes).
I had no idea there was gonna be another Incredibles movie. I actually just watched the 1st one with my daughter last weekend. So good timing i guess w

First of all, Happy New Year!
I'm trying to find where I read this, it was years ago, but apparently a huge hang-up for the Incredibles was that Craig T. Nelson takes a geological age to do his lines for his part and nobody wanted to go through that again.
It took him like 2 years to do his part.

Well, this Incredibles 2 thing is something less than a trailer and less than even a teaser. It could almost be called a mere announcement, except that had already happened too. Oh well. Hyped for a glimpse at the actual movie when a proper trailer drops.
Worst of two? There are only two Avengers movies and Ultron is one. And there's no way it is the worst Marvel movie. Not by a long, long ways.
Say what you will but it was still better than Thor 2, Iron Man 2/3, all DCU movies except WW.
Actually I'd say Ultron was fine, just that the Ultron himself was a bit forgettable. Needed to be less funny, more menacing.
Yeah, this. I get they were creating a parallel with Tony's personality, but I don't think it ended up working very well. The best Ultron moment is really his first scene. From there he becomes kind of gimmicky.
I just finished going through the whole MCU (except Thor 3, although I remember enjoying that in theatres. I remember leaving saying "It was like Lord of the Rings in space) and I would say Age of Ultron is only a slight step below The Avengers for your reason. It also moves too quickly to feel like an "Age". They kind of implied that he was going to try (and possibly succeed) in ruling the world. At least for a bit. He could have invaded all homes and devices and trapped people "for their own safety".
