Isn't it nice that we have prospects good enough to be concerned when they go a couple games without a point? Pretty fun that the expectation is that they should be scoring every single night!

Also probably the grind of the season.

But he has 7 points in his last 5 games and 13 in his last 10. As a rookie in the league.

It’s so fun! I am loving the prospects watch - which does come with mighty (sometimes unrealistic) expectations.

I can’t wait for the next batch of shiny new toys, especially with the way the Flames have been drafting.

If anyone, it's more Morin that has cooled off.

I'm pretty sure Gridin was injured for a game too, can't find where I read that now so could be wrong.

But might still be recovering a bit.

So far tonight, Gridin has 3 points. However, Morin was held pointless in a 6-0 win....

Nice to see coach Lazary showing trust in Parekh playing the PK, after the 1st period against Guelph Zayne has a goal (shorthanded) and 2 apples

Are we regretting drafting Gridin over Chernyshov? The latter has star potential and was generally ranked higher than Gridin.

Management listened to the fan outrage at drafting the bigger Stromgren over Stankoven, so went for the smaller Gridin this time.

Chernyshov's stats look great - but he's had a lot of tap ins looking at highlights.

I doubt he keeps shooting 42%.

Gridin with 61 points in 46 games, and averaging over 4 shots per game looks pretty good to me.

Honestly, I have low expectations for Gridin (& Honzek for that matter) and would have much rather picked up Hutson or Brunicke...but hoping for the best.
