Really really excited about Battaglia. Not that I want to battle Flames prospects against each other but while Basha was picked earlier and started the season off stronger I think Battaglia is the guy to really watch.

Matvei Gridin is starting to look like a sneaky good pick as well. Both guys don't turn 19 for another two months as well.

And what more can you say about Parekth, endless talent

Bashs ankle was pretty buckled this year and Med Hat is apparently a schit show with McKenna and his agents kid.

Jan.25th:

Battaglia gets 1a, and was -2 in a 5-4 loss to Ottawa. He is 11th in OHL scoring, with 44gp/27g/35a/62pts,+4, 22 PIM. Ottawa ain't doing so well without Mews though, going 1-8-1-0 in their last 10.

Misa gets 1g, and was +1 (4/10 in faceoffs) in a 5-3 loss to Flint. He is tied for 15th in scoring, 13th in plus/minus, with 43gp/25g/33a/58pts,+25, 2 PIM. Brampton is tied with Saginaw for 11th-place out of 20 teams.

Gridin is named 2nd star, with 1g, 1a, and even, in a 4-3 OT loss to Sherbrooke. He is 9th in scoring, and 17th in plus/minus, with 41gp/25g/28a/53pts,+21, 23 PIM.

Morin gets 1a, and was -2 in a 5-3 loss to Rimouski. He is tied for 7th in plus/minus, and is 3rd in scoring by D, with 42gp/10g/30a/40pts,+25, 22 PIM.

Despite getting zeroes across the board, Hurtig is named 3rd star in a 3-2 win over Lethbridge- he must've had one hell of a game! He is tied for 11th in plus/minus, with 36gp/3g/8a/11pts,+28, 20 PIM.

Lipinski gets 1a, and was -1 (16 for 20 in faceoffs!) in a 6-4 win over Kelowna. 36gp/7g/27a/34pts,+1, 28 PIM.

Jamieson is all zeroes, but he does get 5 shots, in a 6-1 win over Seattle. He is 7th in plus/minus, with 45gp/8g/19a/27pts,+32, 38 PIM.

What does this mean in lay man's terms?

I'm wondering the same and will attempt to translate.

Basha's ankle was/is in rough shape and there's strife between Mckenna and Ryder Ritchie, à la Miller/Petterson, yeah?

I can promise you there is no issue between McKenna and Ryder Ritchie, so let's squash that one right now.

As per Basha's ankle, it was a mess all through his draft year and got worse this year. Can't wait to see what he does when he's healthy.

Can he play in the NCAA while signed? Is that one of the recent changes?

As soon as any player signs a pro contract they are ineligible for the NCAA I think.

Parekh with a goal to make it 4-1 Saginaw over 67’s. Fun getting to watch him live.

Parekh with an assist. 6-1.
He gets 2 min for unsportsmanlike after the goal (coincidental).

He was shooting so far below his career average for a while there that a goal happy week or two was probably inevitable.

This.
Also too much talent on the team, why Paranych and harsanyi wanted out.

Byron Ritchie is mckenna agent. Thats why he got traded there. Not a rift at all. When you are a big deal you have some pull with the coaches.

Similar reason Iginlas kids teams always had two less forwards on the team. More ice time.

Should whip a puck at his head on the bench. My shot got away on me.
