Women's hockey needs the same atmosphere as men's to succeed. It needs hitting and fighting. If women can compete in UFC and boxing there is no reason women can't play physical hockey.

The NHL sure loves dragging these things out. This should be done in two hours even with the women's game. Why do they need a 30 minute break right now?

Well, the difference is women’s tennis is more entertaining then the men’s based on the rally’s. Mens is all serves. Just my opinion. It’s entertainment at the end of the day, and if you want to be a professional someone has to be willing to pay for your product. Maybe the women’s game gets better over time but biologically there is a difference is muscle mass between men and women so who knows.
