45 minutes left in the Bundesliga. Some nailbiters left, despite Bayerns runaway title ... as it stands, all of Dortmund, Hoffenheim and Leverkusen are tied with 55 points and one of them would miss out on the CL because of goal differential. Right now, that'd be Leverkusen (+15), but that could still change. Dortmund (+18) and Hoffenheim (+17) play each other today, and Hoffenheim are up 1-0 while Leverkusen have a 2-0 lead over Hannover. So all of that could still change. Stuttgart have a surprising 2-1 lead over Bayern and that would give them an EL spot over Frankfurt right now. Further down the table, Wolfsburg and Hamburg are battling relegation. Currently Hamburg (1-1 against Gladbach) would go down and Wolfsburg (1-1 against Cologne) would go into playoffs. Hamburg need a win plus a Wolfsburg loss to overtake them.

If Hamburg survive it would be one of the greatest escapes ever. They were 8 points back with 4 games to go. Also I believe that they have never been relegated.

it's about time they went down, they have deserved to be relegated for several years now and have had some extremely lucky escapes. I believe no one in Germany would miss them

Barcelona two games away from having the first "invincibles' season in La liga, decide to leave Messi at home and get beat by Levante.

Hamburg going down and the reaction is as you'd expect.

MGladbach fans bringing their own version of the Hamburg relegation clock is really taking the piss.

Marseille missed an absolute sitter in the first 4 minutes. Would have been the goal of the tournament.

It went down hill from there.

Dmitri Payet subbed off injured....and in tears.

France release their squad list tomorrow.

It would suck if he misses the World Cup in a losing cause.

Parma are back into Serie A following 3 successive promotions!
Maybe they can resign Buffon!

My brother in law was at the game in La Spezia. He was wondering why the away fans were so crazy lol. Good for Parma.

Vicente Del Bosque has said no Liverpool player, not even Mohamed Salah, would get into the Real Madrid team and predicted a 4-1 Madrid win in the Champions League final on Saturday.

"Real Madrid have a great squad -- they are the best club in Europe at the moment and must show that on Saturday," he said.

"I don't see even one Liverpool player who would improve Real Madrid, not even Salah."

Del Bosque predicted a comfortable win for his old club in Kiev, Ukraine, while former Madrid teammate Jose Antonio Camacho forecast a 3-0 Madrid victory.
