Default Quarantine projects

What are you working on while stuck at home? Bread? Construction projects? A good book? Garden? Share your projects!

Me:
-Built a ski rack
-Made a Bee box
-Hung shelving in closets
-Cleaned the garage, put together shelves
-Started brewing Kombucha again

Now we just need some warm weather to work in the yard!

I am drinking a beer while I watch my wife work in the garden, does that count? I am really good at the morale support aspect of this team project.

I made a short film with my daughter! Here's the trailer:

I wasn't sure what to do with it other than just release it online, but we decided that we'll make it available next week Pay Per View and donate ALL the money to both Food Banks of Canada and Kids Help Phone.

At least try to do something good with it

I had planned on starting my basement development back in January but was delayed with some moisture issues... but in the last 3 weeks I’ve framed, finished electrical and spray foamed... have my virtual inspection on Tuesday and then I start boarding.

Going through old cards. Currently working on 1961 CFL set, unfortunately they are in rough shape.

I sent my hockey card collection to poster bc-chris to give to his son Matthew. Needed a good home to pass my collection onto.

Getting my patio ready for summer.
Need to put a coat of sealer on my wood decking, install a longer hose to my fire table, already cleaned the BBQ and pruned the plants.
Also set up a nice prison yard gym out there so using that a lot.

Cooking is the other activity I'm enjoying.

I'm staining the Golden Oak paneling in the basement a Dark Walnut colour. It's a ton of work but is a pretty cheap upgrade on the old look.

Wouldn't mind seeing before/after pics! I've got golden pine half wall wood panels. I wonder what they would look like darker.

Easter weekend’s brutal weather proved to be a perfect time to potty train our daughter. What an absolute gong show...haha! We are on day 6 and have hardly any day time oopsies, but last night was a complete disaster. Oh well, it is all part of learning and hopefully we are getting over the last hurdle. She is very proud to be a big girl and thank goodness we gave it a try before #2 arrives in July.

That's a long time to only go #1.

I was going to say 'spending more time with the kids' but after seeing LFF's post, I'm now looking up online parenting classes.

I'll try to take some and send them over to you. The test panel I did turned out pretty good so we decided to go ahead with the whole basement. We have a lot of it.

I don't really have a lot of projects scheduled but I did get my garage cleaned and I need to do a few fence repairs and paint it this summer. I also have my annual veggie garden to set up.

Unfortunately for me the significant other enjoys finding projects for me to do. Like deciding to get a trampoline which meant trying down my old shed and doing some landscaping to get the side yard prepped for that. She also wants a new patio door installed now. We also have original wood siding on our house and I think she wants some of the gaps filled in. She literally finds something new to be done every second or third day. It makes my head want to explode.
