The Pie Junkie is still open and is kind of the perfect dinner option. Take out and heat up.

I had to deliver something to them today and their meat pies do look delicious. Iíll have to give them a try.

A local restaurant in High River has been using it's left over inventory to make soup for people and familes in need in my community. I gave Adam the owner a donation to help keep his soup program going.

It's wonderful thing Adam is doing and is being well received in the community.

I live not far from SAIT. Got food from Pho Phuong Vi tonight. It’s on 16th between maybe 12 and 13 St NW

Went in. They had a bunch of tables blocking off staff from any customer, and my takeout was on a table, with the customer end of the debit / credit machine stretched across on to the table.

I know they are struggling. It’s the owner and her one employee, she has to pay her rent I am sure, and lots of restaurants aren’t high margin businesses to begin with

Delicious. I hope she pulls through and will try to do my part

If you're looking for games/puzzles and want to support local, Games People Play is doing wish list by email orders, whereby you send them a list of what you'd like to buy and if they have it they'll fill your order. Orders are delivery only and $15 delivery charge. Great store that's been around for ever. Scroll down on their main page for info. They are going into the store tomorrow to start trying to fill people's wish lists.

Sentry Box is taking orders for games - they will bring your games out to you in the parking lot for pick-up.

Hexagon Boardgame cafe will deliver “date night” packages. Games, beverages and snacks.

Take out and delivery options we've done recently:

Shiki Menya - Chili Goma delivery. A little bit of prep work to heat and assemble but soooooo good
Namo Bistro - take out breakfast. Really great little place.
Una's pizza - curbside pickup. Still a good product. Hit the spot.
Pizza face (pop up inside bar von der Fels) - kinda a let down for how expensive it was. Interesting dill pickle pizza though.

Thanks for this. We live somewhat close and this is our go to for Viet. Top notch stuff. We've been doing take out once a week and focussing on our local area favs. Pho Phuong Vi is up this coming week.

There's a sad realization that some of these places won't be around when we come out of this and this will be our last meal from places we've come to love over the last 10 years.

Another vote for Pho Phuong Vi from us - it's our weekly go to for viet and has been for like 20 years since the 17th ave days.

She definitely needs the help. She joined Skip so apparently traffic is a little better, but she has to give 25% to Skip. I offered to buy gift certificates but I think she's too proud to accept the help - said she didn't have any.

Support your local restaurants and if they deliver on their own (sans Skipthedishes) be sure to make arrangements to tip the delivery guy!

Dont give them cash at the door and they likely wont have a machine with them, so heads up, tip when you place the order!

I'm sure many here are already familiar with this store. A very good friend of mine runs it and he works his ass off.

Wife and I just had the $25 3 course take out from Bridgette Bar. Wowza, it was just outstanding value and delicious. If we dined in for the same meal it would probably be at least $40 each.

Would recommend.

Yup, and as mentioned, it was great.

Not sure what they're going to line up for next week, but I think we'll do it again. My wife put our order in on Wednesday for a Friday pickup.

Not a fan of it either. Beetroot just stain everything and itís an okay vegetable. Aussies love putting this in their burgers

Gnocchi too. Something about a chef pressing down their thumbs on blobs of pasta doesnít jive with me.
