Default Upcoming dates and watchdog stuff

Hey folks
Here is how things will play out including managing roster limits and the watchdog.

I hope to post the schedule and regular season schedule tomorrow
Regular season will start this week
NHL draft is Oct 6/7

So...
Watchdog comes loose: Oct 14 (part of the reason for this is some teams need to sign ECHlers to meet AHL roster limits, but can't sign guys they just drafted until after the draft - we will provide a week for people to do this)
Once the watchdog is on, you will need to be cap and roster compliant

Except...
ECHL limits can be exceeded/AHL roster limit extended to 26: Until Nov 7

Questions?

Are we considering increasing AHL roster limit permanently to 26? I know we had this discussion previously.

Thankfully we're under the cap right on time! Wouldn't have it any other way.

I plan on signing roughly 10 guys tonight and I can be cutting all my non-draft prospects. so there could be up to roughly 20 players changes

Would the league prefer one mass email or that I make each individual change through the team page?

Don't matter to me, asking for what is easier your the league

cool, sent to cphlufa

thanks, and for next time if there's an easier way to list such things please let me know for next time. I'll rather write it down the best way that it's helpful and easier to change

Hey guys, just curious what the scoop is with AHL limits? Are we still going over? Is 26 temporary or permanent?

All normal rules now apply per above:

ECHL limits can be exceeded/AHL roster limit extended to 26: Until Nov 7

So if you are getting watchdog warnings - fix the issue.
This league largely relies on a honor system such that GMs are taking care of their sh**. So pay attention to the watchdog and address any issues.

Lol, I imagine there was some subtext behind this thread being bumped.

Working on it!

Subtext, more like a sledge hammer to the groin
