If you play mostly play online I'd wait till Black Friday and get the new one for cheap. It'll probably be half price by then.

Well unless you only play the nhl3s or the other lame arcade style game modes than nhl 21 IMO is not worth it.
The online hut seasons was removed . Only rivals and special events remain.

How do you deal with updated rosters on an older game? I have NHL20 - don't really feel like getting into 21. But I love authentic rosters.

I spent about 2-2 1/2 hours Thursday night updating all of the off-season trades and free agent signings so far. Other than the Flames and the bigger free agents I didn't bother with updating contracts though.

Yeah, they really need to let people upload their own like MLB The Show.

I was pretty satisfied with the offline gameplay until the latest tuner from a week or so back. It feels like previous NHL games where, at all-star, the CPU's puck control & passing are at a complete different level than what me, as a human player, can do.

Yeah it stops feeling like hockey. The difficulty doesn't actually seem to change, just the other team turns into super fast puck magnets

I'm still waiting for them to release a roster update that doesn't delete a bunch of FAs.

Custom sliders are the only way to go.

Re: custom sliders

They're great. I am looking at knocking Gretzky off the all-time leader board. Thanks sliders!

Also does anyone find dekeing more difficult this year? I've found that it seems more sensitive and I end up just firing the puck often when I'm trying to pull it to the other side.
