Finally activated. This is the first thing I have ever stood in line for. Well worth it, my 3G has a cracked screen and was slower than the second coming.

Did you have to do anything for it to activate?
I'm setting up the iPhone 4 with my music/video/contacts/etc. and it still hasn't shows No Service instead of "ROGERS"

went to market mall around 11:00 with a friend. got in the massive line and a telus rep kinda showed up and was like "i have 16gb iPhones in stock if anybody wants one" - to which i was like YES please! Only problem was my buddy wanted a 32gb and he was my ride -_-
skipped the line, got it set up...waiting to find the network.
go back to line, talk to friend (who was holding out for 32gb). hang out for awhile, then he leaves for lunch around 1. Another telus rep shows up, recognizes me and is like "your buddy still want a 32gb? we have two!". I call my friend with the telus rep's phone (mine STILL wasn't activated) and he gets set up.
Woop woop. iPhone 4 with no line.
Only problem was his instantly activated and mine glitched out. So I had to call and get that fixed, which I just did. No biggy.
Can't get Facetime to work though. It just says 'waiting for activation' Anybody have this problem?

Telus has a new deal. Buy any clear choice plan over $65, and get 5GB added for free. Which means you would have 6GB in total.

So this guy offered me a sealed-from-the-manufacturer, unlocked and unbranded BB Bold 9700 plus $100 for my used 16GB 3GS today. I'm very tempted. I know I could get around $350 for my iPhone on Kiijijiklhl, but it would be nice to have a second phone to slum around with once in a while.
If Rogers ever fixes their damn systems so I can get my iPhone 4 HUP, that is.

And slum around with...jesus...seriously dude. It's no wonder why your rep on these boards sucks.
If you're going to slag BB's, then why should we stay out of your precious Apple thread? Hardly seems fair to me.

Got mine at 10am this morning. Walked into the Bell store in Southcentre and said "Hi, I'd like a 32GB iPhone 4 please!" and wham-bam new iPhone 4.

Glad I didn't attempt my HUP today. Other than the fact that the Apple lineup wrapped AROUND THE MALL (outside at that) and the Fido lineup went past my store, apparently Rogers' system was slow/down.. maybe alternating between the two.
Nice phone though. Couldn't attempt the anteannagate problem since the demo I picked up had no SIM in it...

I wasn't slagging anything. It's pretty clear that I consider the iPhone to be a better phone than the Blackberry, so of course it would be slumming it for me. You should stop taking things so personally, someone's going to start calling you a BB fanboy.
