Basically the way this set has gone is, if Sinner plays bad, Felix beats Sinner. If Sinner plays okay, Felix beats himself.

At 4-4 with Sinner in a rut, Felix had a chance to put the pressure on but it seemed like he was satisfied and relieved to get it back to level and figured, "alright let's just go to the tiebreak". Didn't even make his opponent make any shots. Frustrating to watch.

Well, Felix dominates the tie-break winning it 7-1 and we're going to a 3rd set.

... Um, okay, well, the "wait for the tiebreak" strategy worked out pretty well there. That was a complete beatdown. After really struggling to get first serves in in the prior game, too... suddenly he was dialed in. Hopefully it stays that way.

Nice easy service hold by FAA to start set 3. The body language from Sinner suggests a guy who is not pleased at the moment.

Well he made an absolutely LUDICROUS defensive shot on a backhand down the line from Felix to set himself up for a 0-30 opening and then instead of finishing the point, dumped a relatively easy volley into the net for no reason, I'd be displeased too.

He hit two straight shots right off the baseline in front of Sinner there before he got an error back, very close margins but it goes Felix's way that time.

That was a huge hold by Felix right there saving multiple break points.

Really not used to seeing so many unforced errors from Sinner, that guy is normally rock solid with his ground strokes. Not that I'm complaining

The number of volleys he's screwed up has been fairly baffling. Felix needs to close this out before he gets any sort of rhythm back.

Just a complete turnaround from being broken in Set 2... and especially since the start of that tiebreak. It suddenly turned into a completely different match.

49 minutes after saving two match points, Felix wins it going away 6-1 in set 3. Next up is Borna Coric who is on fire this week.
