I made the mistake of opening that, and now I am getting ads for Blue Jay hats on the side bar.
GET OUT OF MY HEAD!

Things to look for in this series with the Orioles,
Win 1 game to secure a winning record
Win 3 games for an outside chance to move up in the standings
Get Nate Pearson 2 appearance to get game ready
Stay healthy
I’m glad the games still have a little bit of meaning. It would be hard going from 3 totally meaningless contests straight in to a best of 3 where everything is magnified.
At the very least the 1st game against the O’s means something, and if the Yankees/Indians lose then game 2 may as well.
Biggest thing is stay healthy, and see how Pearson looks.

I don't care where we finish, there is no discernable difference between TBR, CWS, CLE and OAK.
I know we have struggled with Tampa in the past, but we played them pretty well this year. And now we have some lefty pitching to put up against them. I actually like our chances.
The only thing that matters to me for this weekend is to get the pitchers the work they need and get them lined up and ready for Tuesday.
And keep the bats hot.

Thoughts on pitching? With a 28-man roster, I think they will go 14/14 so that they can have a 5-man bench.
I think 14 breaks down as follows (for round 1):
3 starters
5 bulk
6 short/leverage relief
Ryu
Walker
Shoemaker
Ray
Kay
Hatch
Stripling
Yamaguchi
(assuming Merryweather isn't ready to go)
Bass
Cole
Dolis
Romano
Borucki
Pearson
(assuming Romano and Pearson are ready to go)
If they go with 15, my next guy would be either Zeuch or SRF

It will be interesting to see how the team plays today. Will they have a letdown after the big game last night or will they keep the momentum rolling? I hope they can keep things going after winning three of four against the Yanks which could really give them confidence heading into the playoffs.

This is a legit thing of beauty. The Orioles aren't a great team but this game shows that the Blue Jays definitely deserve to be in the playoffs and won't be just backing into them.

Oh my.
Just got back from supper and see the Jays are laying the boots to 'em.
Every player has at least one hit, and Guerrero is still sizzling.
Pearson hits 100 mph on his first pitch!
