Absolutely loving my new Cannons lid. Fits perfectly and looks fantastic. Thanks to FFSIE for taking the lead on this order!

If anyone needing to pick up their hat lives in the Deep South, I will be going to the Cavalry game tonight and can meet at Spruce Meadows or Somerset.

I don’t know how often you Guys have been wearing them. But I have easily gotten 2-3 comments a day while I’m out running errands around town asking where I got the hat.
I am actually shocked that no local retailers carry these.

That’s awesome
I’m still trying to break mine in and shrink down the crown a bit. It’s shrunken a bit but still would like to shrink it a bit more to get that right fit.
If anyone has any suggestions please let me know. I’ve attempted the blow dryer and pot of boiling water method with minimal success (may just need to keep repeating the process)

I wouldn’t recommend that as I believe that the bills are cardboard.

Crazy enough I heard on the radio today that a local retailer is now selling Calgary Cannons hats and T-Shirts.

I think it’s Prep Sportwear that is selling it. It’s not authentic merchandise. It’s just shirts and caps that say “Calgary Cannons” in the team’s colours.

I'm not. It's a pretty niche market and also sadly I think too much of Calgary's population has turned over and didn't actually live here when the Cannons existed. I golfed yesterday while wearing a Cannons snapback and the guy I golfed with asked me about the hat and what team it was. This guy has been living in the city for like 15 years and had no clue who the Cannons were. Imagine that of Calgary's 1.4-1.5 million people only like 400-500k were here when the Cannons were.

A couple of you asked me if I had any extras from the order for friends who were interested. I have multiple 7 1/4s (my size) and also accidentally ordered a 7 1/8 for one of the people who flaked on paying.

Any plan to do another of these orders? I would love to have a Cannons hat in my collection.

The last order I ended up needing to pay for the extras. I have a 7 1/8 and a 7 1/2 left. But not sure if there is sufficient interest to make another one… would need 18 hats total ordered.

I’d buy the 7 1/2!!! Generally look for 7 5/8 if you are doing another order though
