Once again, the fact that we still don't have electronic line calling at the French Open is having a major impact on matches.

What a comeback by Iga in set 3. Tough one for Naomi, but great to see her back and playing this well.

Can the French crowd help Gasquet to a victory over Sinner?
Edit: The answer is no, Jannik wins in straight sets.

It's past midnight in Paris and Stan is trying to force a 5th and deciding set in his match versus Kotov.
Edit: Stan saved one match point in the 4th set tie-break, but couldn't save the 2nd one. Rats!

Tough to keep up with all the stop and start due to the rain in Paris, but Felix and Shapo are both in set 3 of their respective matches with Felix up 5-2 in set 3 while Shapo is tied 1-1 in set 3 versus Tiafoe. Both matches are currently tied at one set each.

Denis is now up two sets to one on Tiafoe while Felix is up a break in set 4 looking to close out his match versus Henri Squire of Germany.

I've got to hand it to the Canadians at Roland Garros. Win or lose from this point on, they are all playing some quality tennis again for the first time in a while.
Bianca, Leyla, Denis, Felix and even Diallo have held their own and look like players that know who they are and are playing to their strengths.

Felix through to round 3 following a 6-4 4-6 6-3 6-2 win over Squire. Didn't see much of that match but what I did see was some very good returning from Felix and overall solid play from FAA.

Leylah just won her match over Wang 6-3 6-4 and is into round 3 and a clash with Ons Jabeur next.

Shapo breaks and is serving for the match at 5-4 in set 4. Come on Denis, close this out.
Edit: Done deal as Shapo takes out Frances Tiafoe and joins Felix in round 3.

Perfect day thus far...Just need Bianca to win to make it 4-for-4, tough one though versus Kalinskaya however.

Denis gets Hubi Hurkacz next which will be a stern test obviously, but the clay does slow down that big serve of Hubi's. It would be an upset if Shapo were to win, but I certainly give him a good chance at pulling it off.

I only caught the very end but why was Frances so salty at the end? No words at the net to $hapo and didn't shake the umpires hand

Probably just angry about how his season is going, his 2024 record is now 12-12 and he's been struggling to find good form.
