"Newly acquired defenseman Duncan Keith is still quarantining after receiving his second dose of the vaccine. He will not be with the Edmonton Oilers when they open training camp tomorrow and is expected to miss the first week of camp."

I’ll go ahead and ask the question: is Keith an anti-vaxxer? Unlike Rinaldo, he has 2.1M reasons to get vaccinated, but apparently never bothered to until fairly recently.
No good.

The dude probably doesn't really want to play anymore. He's won cups, Norris trophies, gold medals. He's pretty much accomplished everything he ever could in the game. And now he has to start with a new team in Edmonton of all places. I feel he just wanted to cash his last paychecks(divorce ain't cheap) and ride out his contract. He was probably going to develop a rash or something if he stayed in Chicago. And then Ken Holland came and ruined all his plans.
I wouldn't be surprised if there was a string of little things like this over the next couple of seasons so he can reduce his playing time to a minimum.
