Can't be overstated how big a year this will be for him. Needs to stay healthy and play a ton of games. Werner and Wolf will be pushing.

I haven't given up on this guy. Too much talent.
Hopefully he has an injury (and troubles free) year to get back on track.

If there was ever a goalie prospect to leave this organization and bite us in the ass, it’s him. I still believe.

I believe that position has already been filled by JS Giguere.

And, depending if you want to do this to yourself, Marty Brodeur.
Who do we even have as goaltending prospects anymore?
Parsons, Wolf, the Russian from this year - is that all?
Edit:
Parsons
Wolf
Chechelev
Sergeyev
Are they expecting to run with Wolf and Parsons in the AHL?

This is correct.
Only players on Entry level contracts can be assigned to the ECHL without player approval. Anyone not on an ELC needs to give permission to the NHL club to be assigned to the ECHL.
This means that only Wolf can be assigned to the ECHL unless one of the other signed goaltenders gives permission or they sign another goaltender on an ELC.

They really must believe in this kid.
This just tells you how hard the Flames work at trying to be better at treating their players like human beings away from the rink.
Bringing in guys like Big Ern to work with kids dealing with addictions and watching them blossom into something greater than expected is pretty cool and worth the wait.
Ferland was a great example at the time . Other players that just needed a little extra support were Raz ....I used to hate the sandwich jokes but then he turned it around and is a helluva D man now.

I neglected to mention Parsons would need to approve a demotion.

I really like him. I hope the team continues to have patience with him and he with them.

I am still believer in this kid, and I really hope he stays healthy. I think he is a 'big game goalie'. The more important the game, the better he is. I think if he stays healthy, he will make it to the NHL.

Just goes to show how fraught with variables goalie development is.
Parsons and Jon Gillies were both highly touted, winning goaltenders as amateurs.
Which is why I don't get too excited regarding Dustin Wolf.

Talk about pressure. Yes there is pressure to perform in the playoffs or in big moments. But most of the time these players have guaranteed deals and know there will be a next season. This kid is playing for his pro hockey career.
If he does put it together, that should tell you all you need to know about his ability to deliver when it counts.

Is he a prospect? I know he doesn’t have much experience, but unless they sign someone else, he’s the backup.
