Does anyone have any sizing advice on these jersey's? I haven't bought a jersey since the CCM days so I have no idea. I'm around 5'10 180-185 lbs.

Glad to see Blasty back but a little disappointed they didn't really follow the brief. The new Blasty jersey is basically a remix, not a reverse. So, that got me thinking about what an actual reverse Blasty would be. How about a black horse instead of a tan horse? On a red 2004 jersey.

He goes out of his way to say that it is really a personal preference for him. He doesn't like the horse logo and doesn't like black on a Flames jersey. I agree with him on both points but for something like this I don't think it's a big deal. Let the fans enjoy it if that's what the majority likes.

I love Blasty and have defended it many times in this thread.
With that being said, it should never be in discussion to be a primary Jersey for the Flames. The design works because it’s a fun, unique alternative to our classic sweaters.
I firmly believe once you have nailed your home/away kits you should be a little “out there” with your alternate and specialty jerseys.
Pretty outrageous he has some of those other monstrosities ahead of Blasty though.
It’s clear he’s big on the 80’s and more traditional retros with him having Minny, Colorado, LA, Montreal, and Carolina so high. I bet he loves our home and away jerseys.

"I don't think the Flames should have black in their uniform" is a silly take. The retros are here to stay, so why shouldn't the Flames be able to use some other colours in alternates?

The biggest problem with the Flames' reverse retro jersey is that there's actually nothing reverse in it at all.

Reverse retro was a bad slogan. I think “retro revisited” or “retro reimagined” would have been better. The Avs replacing the Nordiques colours with theirs isn’t really reverse either. Reverse would have been a red Nordiques jersey.

I'm also a big fan of the program. I hope teams do a new one each year or two. Mostly because I want to see this in Kraken colours:

Maybe it started out that way from Adidas and the league and using that term, because there are a fair number of teams that did a pure reverse of a previous jersey’s colours. Habs, Pens, Devils, Blues, Flyers etc.
But some teams obviously went their own way with recolours. Kings, Wild, Canucks.
Then there were some like the Avs and Flames and others who just decided to use this opportunity to put out something they were sitting on as a organization for a while and wanted to release.
My guess is now that teams got this out of their systems, the next league wide Adidas specialty jersey program’s theme in a couple years will be more, pardon the pun, uniform, in its adoption.
