Doesn't matter no time left anyway. Not sure why they called 2 short dump passes down 10..... killing me with the play calling.

Still need a onside kick, but well within possible up until the missed call.

There was a little over a minute left when that play was finished - Score on the next play and recover the on-side kick and a field goal is all you need to tie.
Yeah, slim chance of happening, but that doesn't excuse the zebras from not throwing a flag on an obvious PI call.

Score on the next play, and they wouldn’t have been 100% done even if they didn’t recover onside kick.

Chris Cuthbert is just a little too happy over the Riders winning tonight.

Hey when did Poor Sport Jones start shaking hands again? Did he finally grow some manners?

So Davis did get abuse of an official. Will that come with some suplementary discipline?

Hard to be upset this club lost a game.....other than its because its the Riders.
Football teams never go undefeated, even great ones.
That being said,,,defense showing they are human and not infallible is a concern the way it happened.
DD and staff got out coached....particularly Claybrooks.
Complacency will no longer be an excuse, until they do so again. Which i suspect will manifest itself again in early October or so.

They need to change the challenge rule that if you win your challenge, you get to keep the challenge flag. That certainly would have been called defensive PI on review.

A fine is what i would expect...unless it was egregious which is possible since i dont believe they showed why it was called to begin with.

Agreed.
You showed them once they were wrong....but dont you dare show them that again?
Weird rule.

No they didn’t. He seemed quite blown away over when the ref told him what he was getting ejected for.

The officiating in this league is far too poor to only have one challenge. Rather than limiting the number of challenges they should have just made it so you can only challenge for a penalty of that player was directly invoked with the play (ie ball headed to that player).

Yikes. We got dominated. Full credit to the Riders.
But this is probably the best thing that could have happened to them to restoke the pissed off fire they’ve been playing with all season. The lack of a run game still terrifies me for when it gets cold though. It has WCF loss written all over it.
That being said, I’m feeling strangely comforted by the fact that we were still in it in the 4th after getting picked apart by Collaros and being dominated at the line on both sides of the ball.

Officiating quality be damned, having only one challenge even if you win it is mind bogglingly ridiculous.
But ya, the suboptimal officiating quality only exacerbates this absurdity.
I have no idea if the Stamps have netted to the winning or losing side of this one, but it wouldn’t matter. It blows my mind.
