I think it's pretty clear that with the climate being warmer there will be more moisture in the atmosphere. I think I saw somewhere that the Earth experienced a similar heated climate and it resulted in an ice age because the warmer temperatures changed the Earths ocean currents.

So, the future options for Alberta weather could be hot and dry, hot and wet, or really cold. So basically the same weather we have now but on a macro scale.

I see it being a lot easier to get pipelines to the ocean when BC is under water.

Agriculture is a pretty important sector all things being equal.
Glacial flows make up roughly 7% of water so given that we let most of our water flow to the ocean we can increase irrigation in order to compensate even at reduced water volumes in rivers.

Simply reducing meat from are diets good also substantially decrease water use as well. We will also have longer growing seasons which should help as well.

I don't think it's that reckless as geo political instability due to lack of food scarcity in other parts of the world is a far greater risk. So basically the collapse of civilization occurs due to greenhouse effects elsewhere prior to us having food security issues.

There was a documentary centred around this:

I've read a few reports predicting northern latitudes across the globe will become much more fertile agriculturally. Especially in Northern Canada, Scandinavia and Russia.
