Find him a skunk bride and put her in the hole with him. They can have their skunkymoon in the ambiance of your window well and start their own skunk family. I guess the issue really happens when their little ones grow up and are ready for skunkergarten.

You are close. Put some food on the bottom of the plank. When Pepe steps on the plank, you jump on the other end and launch him skyward. With any luck he'll land not in the window well.
Oh, and of course this needs to be recorded.

Day two log. I tried loading a rough piece of wood ripped from a pallet into the window egress at a not very steep angle as a ramp for him to run out. Loaded the thing with cat food (tuna) 1/3 of the way up and 2/3 of the way down to see if he would climb it.
Picture of wood without food
Skunk wakes up and proceeds to look around trying to look for a way out. Walked up far enough on the plank to sniff the cat food then returned to chewing up my window bug screen.
He still hasn't touched any of the cat food as of this morning. I'm think of either buying a trap covered in a blanket or something along those lines if AIWCs doesn't show up today.
I'd try a wider piece of wood at a less steep angle....either that or a pool net. Option 2 should be recorded.
Try what Dion said. If it still can't manage to get itself out, call the Alberta Institute for Wildlife Conservation in the morning - they have several volunteers in Calgary who could help. Their number is listed at the bottom of their webpage.
This post really isn't a lie. They will probably trap it and come get it the next day. I was one of those guys two years ago. No skunks though. Mostly injured magpies.
This would also give the skunk a free trip out of town where it will have a better chance of survival.
I wonder if you place two planks lower in the window well on a shallower angle. then place a single plank on top of one of the other planks in the other direction? place food outside the window? he might not feel safe until after dark?

My husband's cousin used to volunteer for them full time. I think she still does the odd pick up/removal for them, or takes them to the centre for treatment. I know she's done a few skunk removals before, lol. She was telling us about how she did them, when we saw her in May. If worse comes to worse, and the OP doesn't want to call the AIWC, I could possibly see if she'd come help out, or see if she'd be ok with me putting the OP in touch with her directly.
We got a tour of AIWC a couple of years ago. My daughter got to hold/cuddle Gulliver, their ambassador skunk. He was so sweet. Sadly, I think he passed away this year.

Jury rig something with a series of pulleys and a really long lever.
There's a chance for a profit here by setting up sings in your neighbourhood indication that you have a zoo. Charge $5 to look aat the animals and wander around the enchanted house. Sell novelties and whatnot
