Honest Mechanic

I've had great luck with Shawnee Minute Muffler in Fish Creek (near the passport office). They once turned a $1500 estimate from my dealership into a $75 fix.

Kingsboro automotive on Macloed

The owners used to work out of a garage in canyons meadows and one in southwood after that. I've followed them each time they've moved because they've always been very honest to deal with. I've been a customer of their's for over 15 years.

Looks like everybody goes to a different mechanic and all of them are definitely honest.

Or there are thousands of mechanics in Calgary and most are honest...

Cramer auto in the n.e. Near the old airport.

This guy amazes me . Gives me the receipts for the part to prove he isn't marking up and charges only labor. Never heard of another shop doing this .

Honesty like this is rare . I do this with my biz and that's why I win best of Calgary yearly.

There's 22 recommendations in this thread. In a city the size of Calgary I would hope you can f8nd a couple dozen honest mechanics.

Most drive new vehicles which are under warranty, many trade them off once warranty runs out and don't need a mechanic.

Seriously - I see this in my profession. Everyone gets recommended, even if they aren't great.
