I am also on tbe West Coast, but in order to stay married I am required to PVR the game, and then watch it once everyone has gone to bed.

I mean I guess we can make stories up about "Vegas caused" to feel better about losing? This team isn't going to win every game yet they were never out of this one. What's going to happen around here when they really don't show up and we get steamrolled 7-1 which will happen at some point.
Getting spoiled with all this winning business.

I'm not making up any stories at all. Whatever the reason, they did play badly and they should react to that. I'm not down on the team at all, either. I'm not fussed about the loss, not calling for changes because of it. I just want to see them recognize a bad performance and react to it.

I try the tried and true 'Seinfeld Method.'
"Honey whats for dinner tonight?"
- "Turkey...and wine...."
"That'll make me tired though....."
Yes....

Ruzicka certainly played a timid game in Vegas for a guy who has so much size, I want to see him use that more if he draws back in but I did like some of the small detailed plays he was making. Good positioning of his stick on the forechecks, short shifts at the right times, really good habits to be demonstrating in this cup of coffee.

Can’t believe I’m saying this but I’d rather have Zadorov in than Stone

Stone isn't quite as good, notwithstanding the complaints about Z. Stone has a habit of throwing the puck blindly around the boards when pressured. It's the opposite of what Sutter wants to do.
Plus, Stone has to play out of position if he subs for Z. He even noted how hard that was in his between period interview.

Adin Hill gets the start tonight for the Sharks.
Reimer is out with a "non-COVID related illness"
Fear. The illness is fear.

Didn't we get Hill last time? And he stood on his head?

Lucic has been fantastic this year, no question about it. However, whenever they slide him up in the lineup, it just doesn't work. I don't like the idea of Monahan and Lucic at all.
Would much rather see:
Dube - Monahan - Pelletier
Lucic - Richardson - Lewis
Love the top 2 lines as is though.

They are built for the playoffs because of what you said. That’s why I’m really excited about this iteration of the Flames.
