How can you leave Loob off that roster. Still the only Swede to score 50 goals..but Hagman?! Hagman played in more games for all the other teams he played for than he did in Calgary (except Anaheim which was his last season in the NHL). Might as well have Fuhr and Smith on our team since it seems you just have to play on the team. Hell, might as well add Cujo.

I can't imagine that licencing was an issue to keep guys like Loob out.

Housley isn't a great example for that, he played more games for Calgary in his five years here than he did for any other team not in Buffalo. He was much less of a Jet, Blue, Blackhawk, Maple Leaf, Devil, or Capital than he was a Flame.

The weirdest inclusions have to be Hagman, who was absolutely awful here and only played 106 games as a Flame before being unceremoniously waived in October, and Jones, who had one decent year but was never even close to being the best on the team or even his line.

Did EA move their head office to Edmonton recently?

Because this is no good

I'd wonder if there were licensing issues on Iginla but he was literally on the cover of one of their games! And it's not like he hasn't been retired long enough, David Jones is on the team (?????? I mean I'm not mad but what) and he played his last game after Iginla did.

No Iginla and Kipper has me saying I dont care and wont use it then

No Leeman, how the hell is this team going to score any goals, thats it, I'm saving my money and not accepting anymore of EA's crap

unless he's on Toronto's roster and I can still trade Gilmour for him

Cammalleri and McCrimmon should be on there somewhere, IMO.

Andrew Cassels may have been the softest player ever to wear the Flaming C.

You just hurt his feelings....and gave him a lower body injury.

They might have populated the alumni teams with players created for a specific team, who has played with other teams too. So Jokinen was created for Florida, but once created, was added to Calgary and Toronto as well.

Iginla’s absence is baffling. He’s in last year’s game ffs.

...this roster is literally just them trolling us.

I would imagine they are having to do individual licensing for this unlike the leagues where they can get all players with one agreement. They used to struggle (they may still I havent gotten the game in years) with AHL players not being in the game for launch each year due to players not having their forms signed. I think once they played a game it would kick in automatically and they would get patched in.

It's not even so much as to good players missing as there are some terrible players that are included. Hulse, Jones, Hagman? Really? I'm surprised they left other Flames greats like Dustin Boyd, Aaron Gavey, and Nigel Dawes (just to name a few) off that list.

I never knew that about Housely. But still, you'd think each team would have individual alumni so he'd be on Buffalo.

I'm shocked at your Jones comment.
