If by dumb you mean accurate at the time, then sure. Nice turnaround, but you were being humiliated for the first hour of the match. Even a fellow United fan in this very thread acknowledged as much.

when you're down 0-2 after 70, you'd kind of be happy with a point. Leave it to United to make you feel disappointed.

Stop being a whiny little.... just because you're being called out for the silliness of your posting.

What a bizaare formation they played though. Seemed OGS played the 5-2-3, so he could force in Jones.
He was of course, at fault for the first, but watching the second goal over a few times, he's NOWHERE to be found.

I think outside of the pressure SFU put on Jones, whom would fumble balls to Maguire and Williams, the team looked decent.

Good to see Ole fix his mistake at half, and swap Jones for Lingard.
Then there's this. #Woodward Out

Well fellas, there was no tongue in cheek on that second goal synopsis.

Jones wasn’t found, because he was already subbed off.

Oh the shame, oh the shame.

no idea how Jones got picked ahead of Tuanzebe. Games like these won't help find a suitor for him.

Desperately need to strengthen in midfield next summer. Easily need 2 signings there, but if Pogba leaves, might as well sign 3. Only building block there is McTominay ... Fred runs around a lot but achieves little, Matic is done, Pereira is a fringe player, Lingard is useless. Hopefully Garner and/or Gomes can take a step.

Tielemans was right there in the summer, his agent even wanted to wait with the Leicester deal because he thought United would call. Oh well. I get that they didn't want to overspend on somebody like Longstaff, but losing Herrera and dealing with injuries have left them paper-thin.

Really like Brandon Wiliams though. If he can continue playing well, they at least don't have to sign a LB next summer.

not at all. They have a solid spine in place (De Gea/Henderson, AWB, Maguire, Tuanzebe/Lindelöf, Shaw/Williams, McTominay, James, Rashford, Martial, Greenwood), they'll just need to complement that.

Love being on the other side of Bruce ball, Newcastle just sitting back down 2-0 to Aston Villa gives some flashbacks of a couple seasons ago for Villa but love that it’s other fans that have to suffer him now.

How I imagine it happened yesterday

Mauricio Pochettino sitting at home, his agent has just called him to tell him the deal is finalized. 5 years at 15.1 million pounds per season, plus it written in that he will have 250m to spend in the summer 2020 transfer window.... hes going to the theater of dreams, to manage a club that will back him to go win silverware

Pochettinos wife brings him over the tablet to e-sign the contract, she has taken a break from looking at the new house in cheshire they are in love with and ready to move in right away, she's already picking out which stuff they will bring from their house just outside london and what will stay.

Pochettino finishes signing his first name, pauses to take a sip of his wine when the sounds of the tv sound troubling, he turns the volume up and sees oli mcburnie has just equalized for Sheffield in the 90th minute. Mauricio feels he has no choice now, that goal was 1 too many, he slams the tablet over his knee and throws it in the fire, calls his agent and says there is no way I will ever agree to coach a team who allowed 3 goals on this day!

Villa should have scored about eight.

Almiron is as useless of a forward as I've seen recently.

Manchester United defender Max Taylor has received his first senior call-up, 12 months after having chemotherapy treatment for testicular cancer.

The 19-year-old has been named in a youthful squad for United's Europa League group game against Astana in Kazakhstan on Thursday.

Taylor only returned to training in September after getting the all-clear from medical staff.
