4 of us went, half of us liked it and the other half didn't. We ate virtually the same thing. I think this is the type of place that you will either like the food or not. The fusion concept might not be for everyone.

Carino is quite good. I have eaten there twice. Lunch and dinner. I really like the concept. I have had the pasta dishes both are excellent. For lunch I had the pork belly and the wife had the stone bowl.
All of it was very good. I agree it is not for everyone. You should probably be a open minded person as the food is a different take on fusion. We travel quite a bit to eat and I found the food at Carino to be as creative and well prepared as a lot of top neighborhood restaurants across North America. Really is a great little place for Calgary.

It was actually really good... We had the Calimari which was really good and salty with an amazing aioli and the gnocchi with pork belly (one of the top ten things I've had eating out) for appys... Then we both had the kobi burger which was quite good but not amazing ... Overall a cool laid back place with quite good food - we will go back for sure. That four beers and a dessert was about $90...
