Decided to have a peek at the HF boards after that win...

They feel that and are upset that MTL "played like it was a Game 7 elimination", feel that their star players are "just going through the motions, saving themselves for their higher gear for the playoffs" and are "glad to finally have a bleeder in Henrique", so that they get more and longer PP's.

That tracks for that fanbase.

Wasn’t a well played game, I do give the canadiens credit, they have not been a pushover lately. Been in a lot of close fairly low scoring affairs.

Vegas has an interesting schedule. Probably they only have to worry about Minnesota and St Louis. Their next games are against the Kraken and the Blue Jackets, but they also get the Blues once and the Wild twice, the Canucks twice, the Preds, Jets, Oilers, and Avs, and then finish the season against the Blackhawks and the Ducks.

Literally. I didn’t even know the Devils were playing last night and I slept like a baby hahaha.

Imagine someone being so deep inside your head that you’re watching your favourite team play and your first instinct is to go on to the message board of an entirely different team and try to get said person’s attention.

That’s just sad enough where making fun of them loses its lustre and you start to feel bad for a person.

Vegas have a tough-ish Central road trip thru St.Louis/Nashville/Winnipeg/Minnesota after two easier home games. Than the have another tough 4 game stretch with at Vancouver, at Edmonton, than home to Minnesota and Colorado from the 8th to the 14th of April.

So if they can't go 4-4 in those games they might slip.

Part if me wants them to miss the playoffs. Part of me wants them playing the Oilers and beating them in round 1. But last night, looked to me like Aidan Hill might have turned back into Aiden Hill, and isn't prime Hasek.
