What did you think of Chicago Hulk? I've always thought it was one of the coolest cities in North America.

I loved it! It was way better than I imagined. That city has a very cool feel to it.

Buddy's wedding was this past long weekend, and he was married at the St-George's-in-the-pines church in Banff. The pastor let us up into the bell tower, so i snapped a few. I have many more, but I was using these two for something else (hence the copyright). Just put a sepia tone over them.

Jayems,
Did you have a media pass for the snowboading? I tried going on Saturday and couldn't get close at all. Thankfully, my 70-200 L lens made up for it (I'll post some pics shortly) but I would've loved to have been way closer...how did you pull it off?!

I had a pass.
It was weird too, because there were a lot of people that were freelance, and just walked into the media lounge and asked and received. I met about 4 photographers who were there freelancing, and thats all they did.
I think at least 1 wasnt actually affiliated with anyone.. just some guy who wanted to get close
I almost biffed it every time walking up that stupid half-pipe... lol
I have over 1,000 shots.. so im currently in the process of going through all and picking the good ones... I'll post some more too when I can.

Argg I emailed them on their website an email ago regarding a pass and they said they couldn't hand them out to freelancers even though I insisted I've been published provincially/nationally. Meh, I should've tried your approach Yeah that half pipe runway looked icy. I had a hard time getting a good stance last night!

Ha, No, I actually went the email route myself. But when I was in there getting my accreditation, all the freelancers showed up, well a few did anyway.

From Vegas on Sunday, getting rich on the one cent slots at Paris . . . under a phoney sky.
And a few people shots for fotze . . .
Arguing with The King . . .
Weekend at Bernies below . . . . this guy was sitting outside Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville so I thought he'd been hired for that purpose . . . . his gradually building agitation as I was shooting him indicated he was probably just a tourist.
Monorail Girl!!! The city of Las Vegas wants more tourists to use their monorail and they've hired and uniformed pretty women to roam the streets for that purpose.
More Elvis . . . . for a dead guy, or so they claim, he's pretty busy.
