Default Joe Schlesinger dies at age 90

if you watched a CBC news story in the 70s , 80s or 90s chances are good he was reporting from the field somewhere. Both of his parents died in the holocaust

Remember him clearly. He was their "go to" reporter for years.

Did his job exceptionally well.

Although I only caught the latter part of his career, I was always a fan of Joe and the depth of his stories. There's not a lot of people like him left in today's journalism landscape.
