Default Fyre Festival: "Rich kids of Instagram meets Hunger Games"

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/music/new...tickets-turns/

This is honestly amazing. These kids paid up to $12,000 each to basically re-enact Lord of the Flies. The "gourmet meals" they were promised was basically ham and cheese, and there doesn't seem to be enough food to go around. Kids having their wallets, belongings and passports stolen, etc. Just crazy.

I was hoping that a bunch of rich spoiled money kids were forced to fight to the death on the Internet.

this is somewhat disappointing.

I'm waiting for the tweet of some guy holding up a conch, screaming "The conch is mine! I have all the power!"

Then I realized none of these people have probably actually read Lord of the Flies.... or a book...

Some of these kids had to save up for hours to go there. Sad.

Oh come on....its a little funny.

Those events are borderline anarchy to begin with, you have to find some humour in super-wealthy celebrities grifting the hell out of the only-slightly-less-wealthy.

And what kind of sheltered idiot leaves their passport and cash in a tent? Seriously people? Have you ever traveled before?

Its a tent at a concert. You may as well hand your passport and cash to a local vagrant.

Why? Because they're wealthy? Young? Seems petty.

I would hate to be in that situation. From all accounts it really does sound pretty horrible. What a completely disaster.
