Ctv is reporting it to be an adult male.

Hmm interesting to read that the family went to the basement Suite earlier on Monday and there was no sign of both The mother or the child. Then @ 8:30 the Police find a body....is it possible the mother took the child somewhere before ending up deceased?

Could be the body was hidden and a more thorough police search found it.

I just can't see how anyone could possibly hurt a child. Praying she's found safe.

Yeah, I took that part to be they went to the house and didn't see anyone, but didn't search the place as the police later did.

Amber alert hasn't been canceled, so I am hoping that that means that she is still alive.

Police tweeted this out a little while ago:

Updates regarding the #AmberAlert issued for Taliyah Leigh Marsman will be posted to bit.ly/29wMJsU as they become available.

It could be that but the other interesting thing is where the car was found. Wasn't it located a block or two away from the home?

News said police located her deceased in a closet (the mother, not the child).

Awwww ****. I guess you could kind of tell this was coming from the media coverage, but still. Just heartbreaking.

Amber Alert: Police release surveillance footage from the last time Taliyah Marsman was seen
http://calgaryherald.com/news/crime/...emotional-plea

According to a news release issued this afternoon, police have obtained CCTV footage from Sunday, July 10 at about 5:30 p.m., which shows Baillie and Taliyah at a Dairy Queen on Sandarac Dr N.W. In the video, Baillie also appears to be speaking with a family inside the restaurant.

A girl matching Taliyah’s description was also spotted on Monday morning at about 11:30 a.m. with a “stocky, black male” close to where Baillie’s vehicle was found, police said. The girl was carrying a red suitcase and wearing red or pink boots.

Police say they have received more than 100 tips from the public. The Amber Alert is still in effect for Taliyah. Investigators are looking to identify the family that Baillie was seen speaking with at Dairy Queen.

That would be a pretty shocking and grim discovery to make, even for a seasoned officer. Ugh.

I so hope this little girl is found alive and well. The poor girl lost her mother, that's more than enough to deal with. I just can't believe people do things like this.
