Wow. Didn't realise that I have 42 mutual friends with the mother. Looks like she was a single mother who worked at the airport. Panorama is not far from my house either. I hope the girl is found safe. So sad.

I didn't know they had released her name yet. Sounds like the estranged husband is cooperating with police. Hoping for a good outcome, although I'm a bit of a pessimist these days

So sad. Hopeful they can make this a good ending but I somehow doubt it.

Really hope that this tragedy doesn't take a further turn for the worse, she looks like and has the same last name as a guy I used to work with 10 years ago and I haven't seen the father's name reported anywhere but glad to see it appears he's not involved as he is cooperating with police. Really praying this poor little girl is found safe.

This is so sad, I can't even imagine what her family is going through. Such monsters in our world, this city has seen a lot of terrible things happen in the last few years it seems. I hope they find her soon and safe.

I hope everything turns out ok. If the Mom was killed that's a really bad sign though. My stomach is just in knots. Ugh.
That is the first thing I thought of when I heard the mother had been found dead as well (originally I just saw there was an Amber alert for a missing child). Hopefully she is found safe, but I don't see how there can be a good resolution to this situation.

The Mother's name was in one of the articles I read, metro news I think it was.

***Thanks to everyone who responded. It appears that I was offbase on assuming it was the father who was involved. I've deleted my initial post so no one is misled by my initial assumption.***

^Father is cooperating with police.
History of domestic violence.
They've named the deceased mother on 660 as well.

Devastating news nonetheless. If the dad is going to make a run for it (assuming he's involved) let's hope he drops her off at a gas station or something and goes on the run by himself for her sake.
Sounds like dad is estranged and cooperating with police.

Last I heard the father was cooperating with police.
Didn't sound like he was involved at that point.

Will be shocked if he isn't eventually charged with the mother's murder. Dude had a peace bond against him after uttering threats ect. Sounds like a real POS.

This is so sad. My daughter was friends with Taliyah from daycare for a few years until xmas when I got laid off and pulled my daughter out. I used to see her almost everyday, the mom as well although I didn't know her well at all, just a hi and bye sort of thing. I can't bring myself to tell my daughter what happened.

I hope the rest of this story has a happy ending.

Female body found in a burned out truck in the SE. Police won't confirm whether it's an adult or child. Might be unrelated I suppose but just... awful either way.
