Byron's goal for the Habs is holding up after two periods of play.Price is working on a shutout with 25 saves so far.

The Avalanche and Blackhawks are scoreless after twenty minutes. Grubauer has faced fourteen shots so far.

I can’t see any wild card team giving Tampa much trouble. I do hope it is Montreal, only because Carey Price might be able to steal one and make the other games difficult

Big noisy crowd for the Canes game. Good to see. Maybe the daft storm surge is working for them after all.

Avs are winning again. Man they picked a great time to go on a winning streak. If they grab 2 points here they actually will have opened up a 3 pt gap with just 6 to go for them and the chasers.

Had me looking at the Avs and stars and one of those would be the odds on favourite round 1 opponent for now.

Avs have primary and secondary scoring but a pretty poor d corp and average netminding.

Stars have bishop who could steal a series and a good blue line but their scoring is putrid. Even their top line looks bad and after them there is nothing at all.

Dunno who I'd prefer to see in round 1... Probably the avs

I'd like the Avs to carry on and be #8, but I'd also like them not to get too high and make Dallas #8.

Dallas would be a more boring series... They play a defensive style. They scare me between bishop and Benn who is underachieving bigtime.

The Avs have two good lines but not so scary beyond that and would be exciting hockey so I agree, would rather them than the stars (was hoping yotes but they are fading lately)

The $20 tickets don't hurt either

'Hawks are dominating the 3rd, so doubtless, the 'Lanche are going to find a way to throw a change up towards the net, that will, somehow, find its way in...

If any team could do it it's definitely the Habs. Price could steal the series plus they have a good coach and a hardworking group of players.

You guys that think that Colorado is a better matchup for your Flames, be careful what you ask for. Grubauer is as hot as any goaltender I have seen this season. He has stolen at least a point from this game, single handedly.
